  1. Slightly overcooked but a great quick fix! Loved it.

  2. Awesome! Rich chocolate taste. It took about 2 minutes to cook in my microwave.

  3. MAD Love! Thank you!

  4. Has anyone ever used coconut flour instead? I am out of almond flour.

  5. made this with coconut flour. it created about 3 tablespoons of chocolate crumble after just over a minute – two minutes would’ve been charcoal. it is really good but not cake. :)

  6. to make it healthier n’ only takes a few mins more, toss into an oven safe pan/container n’ pop it in the toaster oven… microwaves kill food and denature proteins, etc… it’s worth the extra few mins:)

  7. OMG, made my day! Great flavor and pretty good cake texture for so little work! Love it! ( I checked it after 30 seconds, and it only needed about another 20 seconds..)

  8. I made this exact recipe only used 2 tsp coconut flour. I will try it again in a few with the almond flour. I only cooked it for 1 minute! I did one the night before and did the whole 3 minutes, BIG MISTAKE! I couldn’t even break it apart with a fork. Definitely no more than a minute. :)

  9. I tried this and it worked perfectly!! I used one of those larger mugs that looks like a small bowl with a handle. Maybe this recipe works best with that option? I was thrilled that I was eating CAKE from the microwave haha when I was craving something sweet. This person is a genius, thank you for posting this. Ill prob make this tonight for me and my hubby.

  10. @Shelly – you’re spot on about microwaving. It changes the molecular structure of food and it very bad for your heart, among other things.

  11. Wow this is good. But great point about nuking it. Gotta try the oven next time.

I nuked mine for just under 1 minute and it came out a good consistency. My only gripes are that it is still a bit bitter (I plan to add a little more maple syrup next time) and some of the egg cooked in small bits like scrambled eggs. Still, a nice dessert treat.

  13. I used a ramekin instead of a cup, baked in the oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. Came out perfect and oh so yummy!! Great recipe!

  14. OMG SO GOOD! I had to use coconut flour, butter and olive oil because thats all I had. I used 2 tbs butter and 1/2 tsp olive oil. Instead of microwaving it on high for the recommended time, I kept it on 40% power and microwaved it for about 1 1/2 minutes. It was a little gooey in the middle and the PERFECT treat!!
