Activated Paleo Porridge
Cooking Steps
Soak chia seeds in 1/3 cup boiling water overnight, with a pinch of salt. Put walnuts and pepitas in a bowl, cover with water and a pinch of salt to activate by morning.
In the morning: strain the nuts and seeds, and pop them,chia gel, cinnamon and coconut into a blender or mixer and whizz until it’s fairly finely ground. Add 3/4 cup boiling water and whizz for another minute, or until well blended.
Serve with blueberries (as I did) or whatever other yummy treats you have lying around.
Serves 1 – although I only just got through my bowl – it was a fairly valiant effort!

sure they’re seeds.
What does activated mean?
How are you supposed to soak the chia seeds in boiling water overnight…..?
Hi Christine! Boil the water, remove the water from the heat, place the seeds in, and then let them soak overnight
