Cooking Steps

In large saucepan, melt 1 tbsp oil, add onion and fennel and cook till caramelized, about 45 min.

Add water, pumpkin, 2 tbsp spice mix, 4 tbsp vanilla extract, and sweet potatoes, cook another 30 minutes until sweet potatoes are soft.

Remove from heat and blend/process until smooth.
Salt to taste.

  • 2 fennel bulbs sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 15 oz puréed pumpkin
  • 3 sweet potatoes sliced
  • Coconut oil
  • Pumpkin pie spice mix
  • Salt
  • Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 L boiling water
