Cooking Steps

Soak the fish for a minimum of 4 hours in the lemon/lime juice.
Drain off excess liquid then mix in all of the remaining ingredients.
Serve with crunchy lettuce.

Ingredients

  • Talapia 1kg ( or other similar white fish fresh tuna can also be used ) diced into small 1 cm squares
  • Half a red onion diced very small
  • Half a red pepper diced very small
  • Big hand full of cilantro/ coriander leaves
  • Big hand full of mint leaves chopped
  • Juice of 3 lemons or 6 limes
  • 2 salad tomatoes chopped small
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste
