Cooking Steps

Directions

1. Simmer for 10 minutes, water and spices.
2. Add coconut milk and simmer for 10 additional minutes.
3. Strain tea and spices through a fine mesh sieve into a glass pyrex measuring cup.
4. Finally stir in vanilla extract and stevia.
5. Pour into two mugs, garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Fresh Grated Ginger
  • 7 Black Peppercorns
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 5 Whole Cloves
  • 15 Cardamom Pods
  • 1 tsp. Organic Vanilla Extract
  • 2 c. Cold Filtered Water
  • 1/2 c. Native Forest Unsweetened Organic Coconut Milk
  • 28 drops NuNaturals Pure Liquid Clear Stevia
  • Nutmeg for Garnish

  1. The whole cinnamon stick, whole clove and whole cardamom is KEY. The dried, ground spices in the jar do not taste the same. Also, fresh ginger is totally better than powdered ginger here. Thanks for the great recipe!
