Chard with sweet potatoes
I just made this up, so i don’t really have portions. Here is what i did:
saute chopped onion in bacon fat until soft..
chop stems of chard and saute for about 5 mins.
add chopped chard leaves and cubed sweet potato.
add garam masala, cardammom, and cinnamon. i don’t measure anything, but i’m guessing you could start with about a 1/4 teaspoon of each and adjust to taste.
add salt and pepper if desired.
add about 1/4 cup of water, cover and simmer til veggies are done.
