Chicken and Sausage Roulade
Cooking Steps
Butterfly 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, place between 2 sheets of Saran wrap and pound to about a 1/8″ thick or so (just so it will roll nicely) Place a thin layer of Italian sausage on top of each chicken breast covering about 3/4 of it. Roll. Tie the roll together using butchers twine or pin together with tooth picks (just remember to take them out when done cooking). Add a splash of olive oil and sprinkle salt, pepper and some garlic/herb seasoning if so desired before placing into a 350 degree oven. Cook for about 1 1/2 hours or an internal temp of 165 is reached. Serve with your favorite vegetable for a delicious paleo meal.





I made this for my girlfriend, it turned amazing. She loved it. It is a great recipe to impress. It does take a bit to bake but the prep time is not bad as all.

Is the cooking time correct? 1 and 1/2 hours seems like a really long time
This always turns out great. The cook time seems a little long, i usually cook it for 45 minutes to an hour at 350.
