Chocolate Bacon Brownies
Cooking Steps
Preheat oven to 325 Degrees F
In a large bowl, using a hand mixer blend your almond butter to make it a smoother consistency
Next blend in your two eggs
Now blend in the agave and the vanilla
Add the salt, baking soda, and then SLOWLY add in the Cacao powder or else you will take a chocolate powder bath like I did the first time
Add the Coconut milk and continue to mix well
Now fold in the bacon and mix well by hand to ensure an even distribution of it all
Divide your batter between your 24 Cupcake Cups and bake for 30-35 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.

You had me until you said bacon….I just can’t see it working….maybe next time I’m pregnant….. hmmmmm….LoL
These brownies are awesome!!! I added organic chocolate chips to the recipe, and I loved them. The bacon makes them really interesting, but you could leave it out and they would still be really tasty!!
OK I just made these. I added about a tablespoon of liquid bacon grease and Enjoy Life chocolate chips to the mix. I also greased my regular brownie pan with bacon grease. Even so, the bacon flavor is still pretty subtle, which is nice. I was also very surprised at how much these puffed up and became so cake-like, given how thick and mortar-like the batter was going into the pan. Good stuff!
This is wonderful!!! I wasn’t sure about the bacon, so I made a few without and I liked the bacon ones best. Thank you so much.
It says “brownies” but you say divide between 24 cupcake cups. What size pan if you want to make them “brownies”? cooking time?
Also, can you sub honey for the agave??
I used brown rice syrup in place of honey. Cooked it in an 8×8 glass dish and it took nearly an hour. Still a bit gooey. Also I added in a little bacon grease and greased the pan with bacon grease. I recommend using a larger pan. Delicious!
They came out tasting like cake . I was waiting for the thick chewy brownie consistency . Disappointed.
Try my coconut flour brownies.
