Chunky Chivey Coffee Chili

Cooking Steps

1. Cook beef in a pot on the stove until no longer pink. Drain the fat.
2. On low heat, mix in vegetables, spices, and coffee. Cover and let simmer for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 900 g (approx. 2 lbs) minced/ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce/paste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 6 tsp. chives, chopped
  • 4 tbsp. ground/instant coffee
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 3 tsp. paprika
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder (or chopped garlic)
  • 3 tsp. basil, 3 tsp. oregano

  1. Pretty good, but I ended up adding a lot more tomato as there wasn’t enough water for me.
