Creamy Maple Nut Porridge

Cooking Steps

In a blender, place all the ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. Mixture will be thin. If you do not have a high powered blender the nuts will need to be soaked and NOT dehydrated.
Place mixture into a small saucepan over medium low heat. Heat gently until thick and creamy. Serve.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soaked pecans (or any mix of favortie nuts, I put them in a bowl the night before if I do not have any on hand)
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 ripe banana OR 1 soaked Medjool date
  • 2 tablespoons coconut butter
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
