  1. I dont see chocolate chips in the ingredient list……how much?

  2. Kristin Jekielek

I added it back in, but it’s 1/2 C dark chocolate chips.

  3. Suggest or a very healthy alternative to substitute crushed raw cacao nibs for chocolate and coconut nectar syrup (ka maimai) for maple syrup. With all those eggs you could also substitute coconut flour and some organic coconut crunch as well.

  4. These are absolutely YUMMY!!! Totally passed my chocoholic taste buds. Even DH, who is not much of a treat eater, liked them.

  5. I followed this recipe exactly and the muffins came out a bit too moist- even after cooking almost double the time…any ideas what I could be doing wrong or what I could do to dry them out a bit?

  6. so could i replace the almond flour completely with coconut flower?

Coconut flour and almond flour have different consistencies and properties for baking. You’d end up with a different flavor, too. I can’t say exactly how they would turn out. If you try it, let us know!

  8. Put the batter in a brownie pan sprinkle top with about a half of cup of shredded coconut. These are wonderful.

  9. I have made these several times since they don’t last long around my house. I have taken them to several events and come back with an empty container. My 2 year old son & CrossFit coaches love them! I am a chocolate freak and thought I would have to give up brownies when we made the switch to Paleo. These have been a life saver for me!

I have used metal & silicone mini-muffin pans and needed to extend the baking time by 5 to 8 minutes in order to completely cook them. Once I figured that out, I haven’t had any issues with baking them.

Very Yummy! 5 Stars on my treat list!

  10. How many calories is this recipe ??

  11. What kind of chocolate chips do you use? I try to stay away from any sugar.
