Put all the broccoli in a ceramic or glass bowl. As much as you want, as long as it fits in the microwave. Drizzle with oil, more or less depending on if you want it more steamed(less oil) or more broccoli -ish(tastes better and cheese mixes better and use more oil) now put a paper plate over the bowl and put in the microwave. It’s okay if the plate rests on a mound of broccoli , the broccoli will shrink.
2-3 cups of broccoli is around 5-7minutes
4-6 cups is 7 -8 minutes
Now take it out of the microwave(should be steaming an very hot. If not, put it back in the micro. It’s hard to over cook the broccoli. It should be mushy, not crunchy at all), and add slices if cheese. 1-3 per cup. Let the cheese sit for a sec to get it alittle warm, then mix in with a fork. The cheese should melt pretty quickly. Eat right away while its warm!
