Manhatten Chicken Chowder

Cooking Steps

Add all of the ingredients to your crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours. Stirring occasionally.

Adjust herbs and seasonings to your liking. I ate mine over steamed veggies and my husband ate it as chowder.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Skinless/Boneless Chicken Thighs (cut up into chunks)
  • 1 Large Can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 Cup dry red wine
  • 1 Large Red Onion minced
  • 1 Package of fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 4-6 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 Tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tsp of dried basil
  • 1 Tsp of kosher salt & 1Tsp of ground pepper

  2. Maybe it was the wine but I did not like this until I added some curry and black pepper.
