Oat-Free Protein Pancakes

Cooking Steps

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree.

Pour batter by 1/4-cup-fulls onto a greased skillet over medium heat.

Cook for 2 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for 90 seconds on the other. Eat with your choice of toppings (I ate mine plain and they were delicious!)

  • 1/2 Banana
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 2 T Almond Milk
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 1 T Ground Flax
  • 1/2 t Cinnamon

  1. I’ve found that when I make protein pancakes that adding a little xanthan or guar gum makes them puff up a bunch :)

  2. Trish, if you put that in your pancakes, you are defeating the purpose of eating Paleo!! Xantham is horrible for you.

  3. Yeah, Trish! Don’t you know that this is an absolutely perfect diet just like all of the thousands of fad diets that came before it?!

  4. is it possible to cut out 100% of all sugars? or is the point of paleo to cut out as much as possible.

  5. Either way, I like this recipe a lot. First recipe off of Paleo I made. Enjoyed it.
