One thing the paleo movement is still striving for is mass appeal, and Practical Paleo holds the potential to bring the paleo message to an even larger audience. One of the most difficult things in life is making the complex understandable, and Diane has done this brilliantly in her book. It is understandable, visual, well-organized, colorful, and to the point, perfectly befitting of the Practical in its title. Broken down into three distinct parts, Food, Meal Plans, and Recipes, Practical Paleo provides not only an accessible approach to grounding paleo theory, but also answers the all-important question of how exactly to make it work for you. The theory is explained with colorful graphics and plain language. Meal Plans are tailored to specific lifestyle goals such as Athletic Performance and Weight Loss, and the Recipes section provides over 120 gorgeous, full-color recipes. The book is both complete and imminently usable. Diane has done a service to both the paleo community and to overall health with this wonderful piece of work. Congrats and thanks are in order.
