Duck Apple Pear Hash

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add a bit of oil to baking dish for apples and pears. Add apples, pear, cranberries, orange juice and cinnamon to pan. Bake until fruit begins to soften. Add walnuts and bake until toasted. Enjoy after diiner and save some for the next day. Remove casing from sausage, crumble and brown in paleo fat of your choice. Add leftovers of the apple bake and heat to temp. Enjoy!


  • 2 apples cut
  • 1 pear cut
  • 1 orange juiced
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1/4 C dried cranberries 1/4 C walnut halves
  • 1 duck sausage, casings removed and crumbled
  • paleo fat to cook hash and grease the baking dish for apples


Former vegetarian of 7.5 years that went back to meat after being told I might have Crohn's. Luckily, I'm okay. I am healing from vitamin deficiencies and have found I'm allergic to eggs and onions. Boo. I'm a cupcake baker and roller derby official. Life is grand!
