Orange Sesame Wings

  • 2-3 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2-3 oranges, juiced
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds


Step 1

Lay raw chicken wings in a single layer baking dish Bake at 425 for 15 minutes

Step 2

While the wings are baking, juice your oranges and remove any seeds Add the red pepper flakes and garlic granules into a large mixing bowl Mix well

Step 3

Remove the wings from the oven and put into the mixing bowl with the orange mixture Add the coconut oil Stir around until the coconut oil is melted

Step 4

Put the wings back into the same baking dish Pour any leftover mixture over the wings Sprinkle the wings with the sesame seeds

Step 5

Continue to bake at 425 for another 15 minutes Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving

    tried this recipe, there was no way enough sauce for the chicken. It came out to almost enough for 2 hot wings! I had to heavily modify this recipe.

    This recipe sounds great and easy…its snowing today, so no trip to the store for wings :( But, I will do it using boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders! I think I may toss them over zucchini noodles to make a meal! Sounds like a plan!

    I made this recipe for only 1lb chicken wings. I didn’t find that the orange juice stuck to the chicken. Instead, it was more of a sesame seed chicken wing with a little heat from the red pepper flakes. I do like the idea of those two ingredients but other than that it was bland.
