Paleo Date Balls

Grate the dates. Put the dates and the butter in a pot on medium heat and fry for ten minutes, stirring intermittently. Remove from the heat and add the coconut. Mix well. Allow to cool until able to handle. Roll into balls the size of a walnut and lay on a plate or tray. Refrigerate until cold and then store in an airtight container preferably in the fridge.


  • 250 g pitted dates
  • 100 ml butter (or just under half a cup)
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) shredded coconut
