Psyllium Husk Bread

Pre-heat the oven to about 160 Celsius, mix the dry ingredients with the wet, but make sure you add the baking powder last, right before putting it in a loaf pan and into the oven. Bake for about 55 mins.
The dough will seem quite dry, but will rise in the oven.


  • 60 gr psyllium husk
  • 5 eggs
  • 40 gr flaxseeds
  • 50 gr sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp almond oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup creme fraiche
  • salt
  • 50 gr pumpkin seeds

      Are you talking dairy free or does it matter? For dairy I would think that a mix of cream cheese and sour cream could be a good substitute.

    You could perhaps try coconut milk or coconut cream. I haven’t tried that yet though!

    I just made your bread, it smells wonderful. It caved it, could you tell my why? I am still going to eat it but I am disappointed it caved in.
