Cooking Steps

Whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the egg whites and applesauce and combine well–no lumps! Let the batter sit for 5 minutes. Stir in the apple cider vinegar.

Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c Coconut Flour
  • 1/2 c Ground Flax
  • 1/4 c Arrowroot Flour
  • 1.5 t Baking Soda
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 1.5 c Egg Whites (or 6 whole eggs)
  • 1/2 c Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1 T Apple Cider Vinegar

    16 slices – per slice – 65 cals, 2.6g fat, 6.5g carbs, 3.2 fiber, 4.3g protein
    10 slices- per slice – 103 cals, 4.2g fat, 10.3 carbs, 5.9 fiber, 6.9g protein
    I made this recipe exactly as written. It baked and sliced easily!
