Tomato Basil Crockpot Chicken

Cooking Steps

1. Place chicken in the bottom of your crock pot
2. Add your onions, carrots, garlic and whatever other vegetables you want
3. Add the diced tomatoes
4. Pour the tomato basil marinara sauce over everything, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
5. Place your fresh basil on top
6. Cover your pot and cook on low for 6-8 Hours
7. Serve over a bed of spaghetti squash and enjoy

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 25 Oz Organic Tomato Basil Marinara Sauce (Fresh and Easy)
  • 14 Oz Diced tomatoes no salt added
  • 3 Cloves garlic cloves
  • 1 White Onion diced
  • 4 Whole carrots cut to your liking
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • Handful of Fresh Basil
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

  1. So, I have made this dish two weekends in a row…it’s awesome! My town now has a Farmer’s Market on Sundays, so I was able to get some nice green peppers and a good-sized zucchini to throw into the Crock Pot with this dish yesterday. Fabulous! (And it’s great that it makes enough for me to bring in for lunch a few days this week!)
