Nam Tok Beef Salad

Preheat broiler or grill:
~ Sprinkle the steak with salt & pepper, then grill for 4 minutes per side or until medium-rare.
~ Let steak sit for 10 minutes before cutting into strips.

Dressing:
~ Whisk together fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, shallots, jalapeno, & pepper.

***When steak is done add to dressing & let sit for a few minutes.

Plate:
~ Add lettuce, cucumbers, mint, cilantro & onion to plate.
~ Top it with beef & drizzle some dressing on top.

This is one of my favorite dishes at a local Thai restaurant. I was so happy when I found the recipe online & was able to alter it to Paleo. ENJOY 🙂

  • 2 lbs of Skirt Steak (1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 C of Fish Sauce
  • 1 & 1/2 Limes (squeezed)
  • 1 Garlic Clove & 2 cloves of Shallots (minced)
  • 1 Jalapeno (minced)
  • 1 Red Onion (diced)
  • 1 Whole Red Butter Lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 C of Mint (chopped)
  • 1/2 C of Cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 Cucumber (peeled & diced)
